Harriate dragged her trunk onto the end of the train and opened the first compartment door. Peaking inside she noticed it was empty so she entered. Closing the door behind her Harriate opened her trunk and pulled out a book. She pushed the trunk under the seats before settling down to read.

Narcissa lugged her heavy trunk down the train's corridor looking for a compartment to sit in. Most of them were full, even Bellatrix's and Andromeda's. A tear ran down the side of her face until she reached an empty compartment with one girl seated inside. Narcissa lugged her trunk inside and sat down. The girl was reading and she didn't want to disturb her. Then she looked out the window and she began to fiddle with her blonde pigtails.
